EDUS is the official healthcare application of the Costa Rican Social Security Fund that allows you to access relevant information from your Unique Digital Health Record (EDUS) on your smart device.

With this application, you can consult and manage your personal data, personal medical appointments, and those of your dependents at affiliated healthcare facilities. You can also validate your right to healthcare, prescribed medications, diagnoses, allergies, and other data.

You can also access information related to the Pension Regime of the Social Security Fund (IVM). If you are a contributor, you can access your pension projection and contribution status. If you are a pensioner, you will have important information associated with your pension. In both cases, if you have a credit line with the IVM regime, you can view the relevant information about the operation.

Through this application, you can manually or automatically record vital signs, results, and body measurements. Additionally, with the required permissions, you can integrate the app with Apple Health on your phone. This will allow data registered in Apple Health that aligns with the functionalities of the app's sign-in feature to be synchronized and sent to the Social Security Fund for review by a healthcare professional through EDUS.

The application is continuously improving to add new features.

What is required to use the App?

 <li>You need an account which can be created directly within the app by clicking on the "Register" button on the main screen or by following the same process on the Internet Appointment Request page available on the Institutional website (<a href="https://edus.ccss.sa.cr/eduscitasweb/">https://edus.ccss.sa.cr/eduscitasweb/</a>). Those who already have an account for managing appointments on the website can use the same account for the app.</li>

What is required to create an account?

<ul>
 <li>The app can be used by all affiliated individuals who have a registered email with the institution. If you do not have a registered email, you must visit a healthcare facility to update your information.</li>
</ul>

Can my data be viewed by others without my authorization through the app?

Your data can only be viewed in the app using your respective user account and password. Therefore, it is important that you ensure the privacy of your password and do not share it with anyone. Additionally, the app allows you to manage the appointments of your authorized dependents.
